Hip-hop and rave culture is making an epic collaboration at the debut of IYKYK Festival. A one-day event taking place on September 9th at the Phoenix Raceway, the festival has a lineup of celebrated rap artists including Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, Rico Nasty, Denzel Curry, and Jaleel. The festival has already got people talking, and with Grammy-nominated artist Uzi headlining, it looks like it could be the festival event of the season!

With the recent release of Uzi’s third studio album “Pink Tape,” of which 18 of its 26 tracks landed on the Billboard Hot 100, the album was a huge success among fans. Below, I’ve compiled a list of songs from “Pink Tape” that we absolutely need on Uzi’s Setlist at IYKYK.

Bonus Song – Watch This (ArizonaTears Pluggnb Remix)

We added this song as a bonus because though it is not on Pink Tape (and technically wasn’t even originally released as a single), due to the track’s popularity on social media, the catchiness of the chorus and it’s undeniably fun energy of the track there’s no way this song isn’t making the setlist — and I guarantee audience members will scream every word!

5. Fire Alarm (feat. Snow Strippers)

A track often described by fans as polarizing, “Fire Alarm”. Rapping with a fast, low-voiced flow over the track, it’s a good song to vibe to toward the start of the setlist without bringing too much energy too early.

4. Endless Fashion (feat. Nicki Minaj)

What could be more fitting on an album called “Pink Tape” than a Nicki Minaj feature? With her always-present fierce and feminine flow and clever wordplay which has made lines from this song trend on social media, Nicki brings to the album a more traditional rap and pop flavor to Uzi’s punk/rock-rap style, making this song an enjoyable dancing moment for more casual attendees of IYKYK Festival.

3. Werewolf (feat. Bring Me The Horizon)

“Werewolf” brings rap-rock fans together with more traditional rap lovers with this BMTH collaboration. The comparatively mellow chorus contrasts with the screamo verses, giving IYKYK attendees moments in the song both to just vibe and also to rock out.

2. The End (feat. BABYMETAL)

In my opinion, there is no way to sit still to this song. With the insane ear-shattering beats, the angry drum solos, and the aggressive, hyper-pop “la-la-las” of the chorus, I foresee “The End” being a moment of pure, moshing, screaming chaos in the crowd in the best way possible.

  1. Just Wanna Rock

Of course, the number one song that we need to hear live — and will definitely be on the setlist — is Uzi’s hit song, “Just Wanna Rock.” With a peak position in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and a dance that took the country by storm, I already can see the crowd jumping, dancing, and screaming to the lyrics with an insane amount of energy and passion, making for an epic celebration of the debut of one of the biggest hip-hop festivals to hit Phoenix.

Overall, the Pink Tape has many moments perfect for a festival. With such unlimited potential for Uzi’s setlist, among the rest of the electric and versatile lineup, the debut of Phoenix’s biggest hip-hop festival looks like it could be an exhilarating experience for its attendees.
