Surviving Fall in Phoenix

Keeping up with the current fall trends is hard when Phoenix weather is still more like summer; with the highs in the high 80s, it seems to be less sweater weather and more sweat weather!

Despite Phoenix’s irregularity, residents have still managed to be seasonably fashionable without bulking up too much. It seems that the way Phoenix has done fall fashion is picking one or the other. Picking something warm on the top with their legs exposed or exposing the arms while wearing pants.

Let’s start with lightweight sweaters. Not only are they surprisingly warm, they are easy and small enough to fit in a purse if it is too hot. For an even more fall look, you can pair your outfit with short combat boots that are hip and fun!

Additionally, maxi dresses, especially with slits, are perfect! Your legs will be covered, but the slit lets hot air out and cooler air in.

Then there are people who prepare for the cold by rocking pants, a sweater, and a scarf. Layering is perfect for the contrast of indoor and outdoor weather in Phoenix. For the people who get hot easily I recommend summer styles with fall colors, like dark and muted colors.
