“There’s no second option, there’s no Plan B, if this doesn’t happen by the time I’m 30, I’m blowing my head off,” ($crim – Mass Appeal).
In 2014, a suicide pact between cousins $crim and Ruby da Cherry birthed a new era of music centered on honesty, and what it really means to be human. Rather than promoting a flashy celebrity lifestyle, $uicideboy$ opens up about the darkest corners of their lives to offer a fresh voice in music. Over the past eight years, $uicideboy$ has amassed a cult-like following for their raw unfiltered lyrics carrying heavy themes, like depression and substance abuse.
Who would’ve thought that two kids from Louisiana would become the voice of a generation?
On Oct.1, $uicideboy$ will take over Phoenix Raceway with supporting artists Ski Mask The Slump God, $NOT, Code Orange, and Maxo Kream for their annual Grey Day tour.
The event started by $uicideboy$ very own label Grey*59 Record$, better known as G*59 hails back to 2019. Grey Day has boasted some of the biggest names in underground rap such as Night Lovell, Germ, Chief Keef, and more. Rather than sticking strictly to the rap scene, Grey Day makes a point to mix in hardstyle rock each year for a variety of musical talents — this year will feature Code Orange for the Phoenix show.

This is also the first Grey Day that will proceed without any supporting G*59 signed artists, which promises an entirely new experience. In addition to new faces the tour will kick off with fresh tracks from all artists including $uicideboy$ brand new summer album Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation, Maxo Kream’s Weight of the World, Ski Mask The Slump God’s singles Hopped Out Remix and Through 2 U, and $NOT’s Ethereal, will hit the stage for the first time.
The energy surrounding Grey Day is nearly impossible to duplicate. A myriad of YouTube videos from previous Grey Day tours show a dedicated and passionate fanbase banding together for their favorite artists in a series of mosh-pits and chants, as they pack in to get as close to the action as possible.

Relentless Beats, known for organizing Arizona’s biggest events, is ready to show up and show out for the festival drawing in crowds of all ages. Fresh into their new contract with Phoenix Raceway, this is the first-ever Grey Day tour that they will hold in the renovated space. Traditionally held at Rawhide Event Center, the upgrade to Phoenix Raceway will allow for a more immersive and seamless show, rather than the dust and wind-prone venue of years past.
With a new venue, new lineup, and new music under the artist’s belts, the nearly sold-out show is expected to be one of the must-see events of the year.
The festival will open its gates at 5:30 p.m. and will go late into the night, not expecting to shut down until around midnight. Interested in going? Purchase your tickets here!
