The fifth day of Paris Fashion Week was extreme in every sense of the word. Designers presented a collection true to their aesthetic, while keeping the entire show edgy and dramatic. Be ware fashionistas, these shows aren’t for the faint at heart.
Viktor & Rolf
The Viktor & Rolf show featured amazing draping in neutral fabrics, broken up with metallic and dramatic graphic prints. The show also included peplums, oversized coats, pleating and menswear inspiration – a great lineup for your spring wardrobe.
Vivienne Westwood
The Vivienne Westwood show combined fantasy with ready-to-wear. Every model had a heart painted onto her face, and shoes that only the most daring fashionista would be drawn to.
Comme des Garcons
The Comme des Garcons show featured multiple layers of geometric shapes. The looks were oversized and bulky, and when combined with the outlandish headwear and long white ponytails can only be described as over the top and ridiculous.
Jean Paul Gaultier
Menswear meets Madonna. The Jean Paul Gaultier show stayed true to the brand’s rock and role vibe with pin stripes suits, revealing cut outs, fringe, lace, and distressed denim.
