The sixth day of Milan Fashion Week showcased many different themes on the runway, the highlight being the show that took us back in time.
D Squared 2
Bright colors and big hair made the D Squared 2 runway look like we went back in time to a ’60s high school. The end of the show was reminiscent of senior prom with two of the models being escorted by a male model in a crisp, white tuxedo jacket.
Giorgio Armani
The Giorgio Armani show was filled at the beginning with drab menswear inspired outfits with pops of color. Nearing the end, the polar opposite outfits came on the floor featuring outrageous pink and orange jackets and dresses. The models all wore a black hat that took away from some of the dresses in the collection that were actually stunning.
Roberto Cavalli
Robert0 Cavalli was stuck on animals this year with his fall 2012 collection. Featuring fish scale-like pants and oversized animal print dresses and skirts, many of the designs were extremely unflattering on the models.
