Filled with lavish ingenuity, the fourth day of London Fashion Week featured inimitable designers like Pringle of Scotland, David Koma, Christopher Kane and Burberry Prorsum.
Pringle of Scotland
A compliment of soft pastels and preppy layering, Pringle of Scotland presented a collection of simple essentials like argyle sweaters, crisp khakis, and knee-length shorts and skirts. Garnished with sophistication and class, each look embodied cleanliness and basic beauty.
David Koma
Linear, bold and vivid, David Koma’s Spring 2013 garments featured a variety of drop-wasted and pleated pieces, all of which accented with angular patterns and cross-body lines. A canvas of beige and black neutrals served as the primary fabric while strong oranges, teals and royal blues added contrast and color to the clothing.
Christopher Kane
Christopher Kane drew upon the imaginatively chic with his shamelessly unconventional designs. Although selecting to work with a light color palette, dependent upon white and pastels, Kane’s collection consisted of intricately folded fabric, Asian-inspired fastens and sheer knits.
Burberry Prorsum
Bordering the line between avant garde and functional, Burberry Prorsum revealed rotund overcoats, tailored trenches and metallic blouses and dresses. In addition to the spherical outerwear, models accessorized with suave cat-eye shades and a red lip while donning oxblood, navy and crème satins.
