Is it possible to go from being discovered in a restaurant to being the face of Arizona Fashion Week (AZFW) in just two months? For 22-year-old Evan Erlacher, the answer is yes.
Erlacher began modeling just two months ago after he was recruited by someone who knew the head of Luxe Model Group (LMG). Now, only eight weeks later, Erlacher is one of the faces of AZFW and has been in various runway shows and prints for LMG.
LMG is an Arizona-based talent agency that was founded in 2012. According to its website, it was created “by a group of young independent women who wanted to simplify a daunting process they initially struggled to figure out.”
The model spoke about his experience being the face of AZFW and seeing his face on big screens and marketing materials.
“Seeing my face on large screens, posters, and lanyards around the necks of my peers has been incredible to see – and the support from friends and my community has been even better,” Erlacher said.
The 22-year-old model walked for NOA Collective, Christine Adar, House of Donaldson and AllSaints at AZFW.
“AllSaints has always been my favorite brand ever and I never imagined I would be able to walk for their first runway show in eight years – but I had just as much fun walking for the other incredibly talented and creative brands, too,” Erlacher said. “I even got to keep my new favorite, sustainable swimsuits from NOA Collective!”
Erlacher can be seen wearing dark denim jeans, a light-colored sweater and a flannel jacket paired with boots and a beanie for the AllSaints show.
Also, he was one of the first male models to ever walk in Christine Adar’s clothes – according to Erlacher.
Overall, AZFW went very well for Erlacher, and he said that the month leading up to fashion week was full of “incredible” experiences. But one aspect in particular made the entire experience worthwhile.
“The people really made the whole experience above and beyond my expectations, though,” Erlacher said.
Dreams really do come true in the Arizona fashion community.
“I am so glad I got the opportunity to join LMG,” Erlacher said.
