The Mop Top is a personal style blog run by Tonya Smith who is based out of Portland, Oregon, and is currently studying fashion marketing.
Her blog is teeming with cute outfit ideas, beautiful photography and little musings about her everyday life. Her style is mostly bohemian and indie, but that doesn’t mean she sticks to one style. It’s always changing and evolving. Keeping the bohemian theme, she experiments with minimalism, menswear and bright colors, so Smith’s style is never boring. At the end of every blog post she always attaches the links and stores where she got the pieces from her outfits, so it’s easy find something that you love from her blog.
Another way to implement her style into your own wardrobe is to check out her store on Etsy, Koo Koo Kachoo Vintage, where she sells cute vintage finds. The Mop Top on Instagram is also great for daily fashion inspiration. Smith has been featured in Seventeen magazine as a part of the 2013 Style Council, Urban Outfitters as a UOonYOU stylist and on the Elle Spain website. With her fabulously messy hairstyle and her bohemian indie-rock style, Smith is the ultimate boho style muse.
