Shop Glamour | “There’s an App for That”

The 21st century saying, “There’s an app for that” applies to eating, exercising, sleeping and so much more. Now you can add one more fashionable app to that countless list. Along with the March issue, Glamour unveiled a new app called Shop Glamour.

Glamour solved a common problem that most people experience when looking through a magazine and spotting that must-have item. Normally the designer or brand’s name is given and occasionally a website where you can find the piece. But trying to find clothes featured in the magazine is often time consuming.

Glamour’s solution is an app that can scan the pages in the magazine with the Shop Glamour logo. Even if you don’t have an issue, you can still test out the scanner on a sample page. All you have to do is aim the scanner over the full page and tap the screen. Then the clothing, shoes or accessories that have the logo by them will appear on the app for purchase.

The price, size, shipping information and product details are all available. Glamour also added categories for looking around. You can shop for accessories, clothing, handbags, beauty and jewelry. Even more helpful, there are sub categories including shop this issue, editor’s picks and curated shops. You can even search for items under your favorite brand.

One of the best features is the price range option that allows you to shop within your budget. The Shop Glamour app is a girl’s best friend when it comes to discovering the latest trends.
