Everyday Couture

The recent Spring 2014 Couture collections were something to inspire envy. Although nothing really can compare to couture, it is possible for someone on a budget to infuse her outfit with the essence of certain couture looks.

At Zuhair Murad, the runway was brightened with exquisite lace, gilded leaves and plenty of flora. A romantic, tulle-skirted dress with metallic lace (ModCloth, $139.99) is similarly magical.

In her show, Ulyana Sergeenko created a scene that depicted the most elegant of train rides. One look, a calf-length navy number has a more wearable and affordable counterpart at Stop Staring ($150.00).

Elie Saab enchanted with voluminous, feminine dresses. The exaggerated silhouettes can be toned down in the form of a midi skirt, like this gorgeous pink one (Topshop, $96.00).
