Online Shopping: Fashion Porn?

Fashion PornWe all have it – that deep dark secret, that nasty habit, that urge to do something you know you shouldn’t, a little thing I like to call ‘fashion porn’. The bad news: there is no cure to your not-so-healthy obsession. The good news: you’re not the only one addicted to it, and there are plenty of online shopping sites you never knew were out there to feed it. The sites I am about to share with you are the best of the best as well as the worst, ones you can’t wait to add to your list but that you’ll never be able to take your eyes off of. Get ready, we’re going in!

Fashion Junkee

If you’re looking for a fancy dress to wear to a party or even just a classic cocktail dress, this is the site to search. Because of its dressier and higher quality, Fashion Junkee offers clothes ranging to at most $70.

ModCloth

“Quirky, but unbelievably cute” should be the motto of this addicting site, which houses everything from colorful peplum tops and vintage style dresses with polka dots and girly cuts on them, to a cat-shaped salt and pep-purr shaker set for your kitchen, and all at affordable prices! WARNING: This site will be the end of you and your wallet.

Fashion PornNasty Gal

For the ladies who aren’t afraid to wear clothes that show what their mamas gave them, this is the place for you. Nasty Gal has its share of sexy, grungy clothes that are bold looks but so in! However, because it can be a little pricy, I suggest going straight to the sale section. Here, you’ll find just as daring yet affordable items such as a blazer for $40 or an dress for $29.

Rusty Zipper

We all know that vintage clothing is at a high right now, and this site will give you the best deals on the best clothes and accessories. All vintage, all the time, Rusty Zipper lets you shop vintage attire by decade or style. Some blasts from the past I was able to stumble across were this 1990s women’s shirt for $30, a 1980s women’s “Totally 80s Sweater Shirt” for $27, and a 1970s women’s Peace Medallion “Pow-Flower” necklace for $12.

Ruche

The “Ruchette” shopper is definitely a girly girl who appreciates details. Lace, bows, collars and pleated skirts galore, this site is made for the adorably chic shopper, who will find items such as the Spring Awakening Floral Dress for $25 and the Greenhouse Gardening Eyelet Dress for $15.

Urbanog

Winning the award for most diverse online shopping website, Urbanog lets you shop by trend or by category (i.e. spikes and studs, oxfords, sexy back, etc.). Finding exactly what you’re looking for is simple, whether it be Stella-1 Ruched Buckle Riding Knee High Boots for $38.10 or a Leopard Conquest Maxi Dress with multiple uses for just $23.60.

Wanelo

While this site offers more eye candy than buy candy, it is also the most addictive. Wanelo is designed similar to Pinterest, with an endless scrolling of items you never thought existed but now would do anything to have. What distinguishes this little gem, however, is that everything you see has a price as well as a link to buy it. This site is best for finding cute accessories, such as Paris Themed TOMS for $115, A Silver Lining Bow Earrings for just $4.99, and a Chanel iPhone 4s Case for $16.99.

Happy online shopping ladies! Remember, your secret is safe with me.
