Fashion met charity last week when the Fashion Journalist Club teamed up with Style Cabana to host a stylish yet philanthropic event. On Wednesday and Thursday the lovely contributors to The Chic Daily ravaged their closets in efforts to donate their unneeded clothing to a great cause, the Phoenix Rescue Mission.
Also on board were the AZ Party Rockers, who brought fabulous music to Taylor Mall! Students joined in on the fun, dancing and donating all day long! The DJs kept the part going all day long, as donations poured in. Both male and female clothing and shoes were collected.
In the end, it was two packed days of endless smiles resulting in roughly 20 bags of clothing. The club plans to sort through the donations and take them over to the Phoenix Rescue Mission this week, and they cannot wait to update everyone on the responses they receive.
